Book Review: Little Voice Mastery

Did you grow up with a lot of emotional chatter in your brain?

Do you find that when you start a project, there are so many interfering options and voices, that you
sometimes quit?

Or are you finding that you have some success, but don't excel the way you know you should be?

This is what Blair Singer, In his Book Little Voice Mastery calls Your Little Voice.

As I spent most of my early childhood in foster care (mercifully with the same family), I had to have annual social welfare visits. The social worker would ask many questions to check and see if the foster care that I was it was appropriate for me. As a child, this posed a risk that I would be taken away from my family. So I learned to fear two things. Questions, in case I got the answer wrong and fear of loss of relationships.

These two issues infiltrated many areas of my life.

What areas of your life does your Little Voice affect?

In his Book Little Voice Mastery, Blair Singer helps you to identify which voices you are actually listening to and if these voices are helping or hindering you.  Sometimes, it takes a bit of digging to find the voice that has influenced most of your decisions. But this book assists you in gaining control of the inner voice that you have.

In the book, some of the steps that he recommends are:

Don't talk yourself out the things that could be good for you. Just because something is uncomfortable, does not mean that it is not good for you.

Practice overcoming objections that hinder your progress. Practice them in the mirror, with a friend and in real life situations.

He also deals with being real. A lot of people fear that if they are real that nobody will like them.

Key elements that you will get from these books are:

Maintain your power in any situation.
Stop the debilitating chatter in your brain so you can attract what you want now.
Uncover and realize your lifelong dreams.
Breakthrough self-Sabotaging habits.
Build powerful, lasting confidence.
Resurrect the hero inside of you.
Embody 21 proven techniques to reprogramming the "Little Voice" in your brain in 30 seconds.

Usually, I can get through a book quite quickly.  But this book is not just a read, it is more like a bit of a manual.  There are some exercises that you have to practice. I started reading this book more than once, but I only started getting results when I started actively doing the exercises.

Commit to doing the work in the book for the best results.
